Adidas - Swipe shot / Window display smartphone game - (2013)
The Viral Company Stockholm made a little game for Adidas, and a super long case study film for it. Demonstrating that Stockholm Sweden isn't all hipsters and tall blondes, they interview man & woman on the street who actually tried the game so for once the reactions feel genuine. By connecting their smartphones to the Adidas store open wifi, and then visiting the URL http://adiswipe.com (don't read that too fast, asswipe), the phone connects to the store screen and becomes a full-powered gaming control. Then you can kick balls and score points!
There's no free Adidas shoes at the end, and the screen is small so there's a lost audience opportunity as other people walking by can't really see what's happening. Gold star for effort, I guess.

Google - How It Feels [through Glass] - (2013)
"How it feels" shows us just how simple using the soon-to-be-released Google Glass is. TRES SIMPLE, and now we are forever unchained from our desks, handhelds and phones and can just continue with all that skydiving and flying and acrobatics we used to do before we became internet-hermits, while simultaneously sharing all this is G+, in hangouts, on youtube, all over the web. Norton Japan - The Holy Antivirus USB - (2012) 3:00 (Japan)
Sony Xperia™ Z - Sound, vision, colour, detail / Electric Blue - (2013) (USA)
I know I'll get flack for this but compared to Lincoln's Branded Content Wank Fest Starring Beck this version of Bowie's Sound and Vision is not only conceptually stronger but the stripped down version of the song is way more moving. Also, unlike Lincoln, I didn't need to read a press release to know what it was for.
There, I said it.
SONOS PLAYBAR - Unleash Your TV Sound. Unleash All the Music on Earth - (2013)

The Playbar's nine-speaker design floods any room with high fidelity audio for games and movies, huge waves of live concert sound, and wireless streams of all the music on Earth. So you can hit up spotify to find that song you just heard in Wayne's world. Because someone as into music as you, who gets nine speakers installed in your house..

So she has a Kindle and can read in bright sunlight, he doesn't have a Kindle and can not. But seeing hers and how well it works, he is convinced to buy one. "Lets celebrate!" "Sure, my husband is bringing me a drink." "So is mine!" - oh, wait, I see, the funny here is that she might have assumed this man was hitting on her with the celebrate proposal? How daring! Google Chromebook Pixel - For What's Next - (2013) :30 (USA)
Move over Apple, you have competition. Oh, not in the ads so simple they basically say nothing at all while drooling over the pretty laptop/ipad/widget on a white background, as this makes the mistake of having talking heads in it. But in the pretty and oooooh-department of laptops, you have competition. Sell Apple stock right this minute. Droolworthy, isn't it? I want one. (My birthday is in June kthx)
