The wife who is married to a mime marvels at her husbands ability to order a pizza at Little Caesars. Then the son appears, and like any offspring he's 50% mom 50% dad. Because mimes man, they have an entire MIME tag to themselves. Mimes in adland, the over-used gag. Mimes are the advertising worlds go-to weird thing. 50% mime is 100% weirder. This is ad-math, trust me, it makes sense. We think 2+2=5.
Followfish - TunaTunes - the documentary / hand built tuna tin ukulele (2012)
This is like the opening line of a strange joke. A tuna, a musician and a guitar maker walk into a bar... get together. Followfish, an environmentally conscious fish company that want to highlight the sustainability of their new tinned tuna had a great idea. They recycled the tin. By building a tuna ukulele out of it.
And what a great tuna ukulele it is.

Angry birds invade China via McDonald's & TBWA
Angry birds have invaded China by way of McDonald's. A special location-based campaign created by TBWA\ Shanghai in collaboration with Rovio allows game-players who visit McDonald's to unlock special hidden game modes and get free Power-Ups. Oh Finland, once you sold tyres all over the world, then cutting edge cellphones, and now you're the king of smart-phone games.
The location-based campaign is available to the millions of Angry Birds fans on iOS devices in China and serves as an invitation to others to join in and download the game.

Capitalizing on the 500 million viewed "Charlie bit my finger", Ragú - by way of ad agency, Barton F. Graf 9000, finds that this is exactly what they mean with the "Long Day of Childhood" campaign. Why not do a 50 second "documentary" on the brothers? I doubt that will reach 500 million Charlie-fans type of views, Ragú Parents bedroom had a better shot at that, and even the low-key quick ads like "Sleepover" are proving quite popular.
Albert Heijn - Vote for sustainable / Groceries with a message - (2012) subtitles (the netherlands)
Albert Heijn launched a Facebook app with an animation of two sustainable products battling for the most Facebook likes. Fans can vote by liking their favourite product. The sustainable product that receives the most likes will get a 50% discount in stores the week after. You can vote here. I'd vote for the fish, if only because the pun-joke about the rod spoke to my love of idiotic puns. Like "Boodschappen met een boodschap". Seems I'm not the only one as the fish is currently leading with a thousand odd likes.

Cow & Gate - The baby Supergroup (Extended) - (2012) 2:00 (UK)
Cow & Gate know that they and you parents loves to see the wee little babies grow into their wee little persons, and created this little supergroup to homage those moments. Setting a bunch of toddles and babies loose in a music studio bring charmingly hilarious footage of sudden crying reactions at the noise a piano makes, but also all of a sudden, harmony and "Come on Eileen". Sure, a song about teenage raging horny is suitable here, why not. It is after all how babies are made.

In the "meat-packing district" area of Helsinki, in an old slaughterhouse renamed Kellohalli opened as a restaurant. Kellohalli has a different approach to food. Food is seen as fuel, a stimulant, a topic. Food can be anything, even a way to express feelings.
The Helsinki World Design Capital 2012 wanted to highlight Kellohalli as one of its main events. We did four posters to communicate the essence of Kellohalli.
In other words, food is sex. Dirty. Messy. A mashup. Gross. And oh so yum. Yikes. Pork Chops. Chicken legs. Cucumbers. If your mind went dirty places at those words, you need to visit Kellohalli. Also: OMG YOU PERV. Call me.
