It's a tale of ginger puppy love, featuring an Irish immigrant student and a boy who falls in instalove with the redheaded lass and then devours her culture in the library, the wee fields, and grocery store for some Kerrygold to make her feel at home and impress the heck out of she who comes from that place where there be forty-three shades of green. It's a beautifully directed spot that tugs at me heartstrings, dontcha know. So well cast, too. Not seen: the part where he recites too many dirty limericks, weeps silently when he remembers The Troubles and ends up leading the class in a rousing rendition of If I should fall from grace with god," by the Pogues.
