Mountain Dew "Part 2" (2013) 1:00 (U.S.A.)

Starring Odd Future peeps Tyler the creator and Lionel Boyce. This is the tamest of the three ads, the third of which has been banned by PepsiCo, which we have right here.

Starring Tyler the Creator and a goat and a battered woman. And this was pulled by Pepsi? Really? Thankfully the first two charming episodes weren't. Apparently it is to be continued, too. Can't wait.

See also Dew Part 1, and Dew part 2 if you missed them.

Mountain Dew "Part 1" (2013) 1:00 (U.S.A.)

Starring Tyler the Creator as a goat beating up a woman for Mountain Dew. This ad wasn't banned by Pepsi Co. or part 2 but Part 3 was. Jesus.

To celebrate the sixth annual Good Deeds Day, an International movement that started in Israel, The Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance decided to hold a flash mob at Sarah Wetsman Davidson Hospital Tower in Jerusalem.

Except it wasn't a flash mob so much as a flash waltz. They played Tchaikovsky's "Waltz of The Flowers," for doctors and patients alike.

Calling it a flash mob is also debatable, but it was a nice mitzvah anyway.

“What exactly are exosomes?” and “What's the sex of testicular DNA?” Gee I dunno, is it DNA from a testicle? Because my guess then is "male". If they mean spermatozoa your guess is as good as mine. I'm going to have to called Life Technologies technical support now, aren't I?
These highly technical. routine, and very funny questions are the kind that Life Technologies Technical Support teams assist hundreds of scientists with their daily. So they made a cute little tune about it, to celebrate their dedicated everyday-heroes-of-science. Sing along people.

So check it. Y'all have problems gettin' your kid to engage in the dental hygiene? Maybe y'all need to check this out. It's a video made for kids encouraging them to brush their teeth.

This "viral" from the Oregon Dental Association has appeared on Good Morning America, and has almost 600,000 views at press time.

The Oregon Dental Association either channels its late-to-the-party movement, or has piggy backed on some Yo Gabba Gabba territory. But hey. If it gets some kids to brush their teeth, who cares? They're at least promoting good hygiene.

Digital shop Albion London created a fun film to promote the Code Club, a nation-wide network of after-school coding clubs for kids aged 10-11.

Isn't that too early to become a nerd? I keed, I keed!

The video is kinda funny. Nothing I like more than seeing some snot-nosed Veruca Salt wannabe and her friends diss the world's most influential pioneers in the digital world. Like Sir Tim Berners-Lee, the real dude who 'invented the internet,' as well as some other people you might know, like Chad Hurley , this dude Niklas Zennstrom , the Duke of York and more.

The highly anticipated 2013 Subaru BRZ rear-wheel-drive sports coupe makes its debut in Canada with the launch of a new campaign ‘Scorched,’ and car aficionados and passionate drivers will agree, car porn has never looked so good.

Developed by DDB Canada’s Toronto office, the national campaign features a 60-second online film, ‘Scorched,’ shot with Phantom camera technology, creating extreme slow-motion shots. The suspenseful story unfolds inside a garage where an unknown source of heat melts everything in its path. Amplified by a dubstep track, “Execute” by Excision, the final shot reveals the heat source to be the Subaru BRZ emerging out of a drift, demonstrating that the BRZ handles as incredibly as it looks.

First of all, you've gotta stop the choddy, especially bad choddy like this example. A bunch of Americans talk about 4th of July, and what they thought it was when they were kids. "we're better than the British?" and "neighbors coming out of their houses" are examples mentioned, before the interviewed people get serious and talk about dependency on oil. If I don't find these people sympathetic before they get serious, why should I listen to them when they are? Then there's the 'End Dependence Day' pun, dearie me that's not a good one, and as much as I love puns they have no business in serious ads. "Make the change.
