"Work it Kitty," is more than just a video by Alex Gaudino ft. Taboo. It's part of a larger campaign leading to the Work It Kitty website.

It's also got its timeline crossed. Because it's feeling very 80's but the music is very 90's. Still, if this were a music video that didn't end with a fifteen second spot, it would have been somewhat better. But it seems like the client shoehorned the messaging in, rather than allowing us to have fun and go to the website on our own. Too bad.

Also isn't it a bit late to be doing stuff with cats? Especially when it's coming from a company that makes stuff for cats? You'd think they'd have been on this long ago.

Facebook home means that your home screen is always showing you the latest of your friends inane facebook posts, and that you can FB from any app on your phone, receive chats while looking at a map and so on. What this means is, it's like having a random drag queen cabaret appear on an airplane. Your beach-lounging pals are taking up the overhead compartment. Your nephew is covered with chocolate cake in the aisle and there's cats everywhere. No, not like in "Great, now there's going to be cats everywhere"., just as in the old THIS bring X to LIFE execution.

I'm not saying it's predictable, I really like the music chosen for example, just that's it's not totally rad either.

Spot for Exede Internet. How fast is it? So fast it must be from outer space. The kitten joke makes me think of ALF.

Here's a look behind the scenes as Ikea & Mother London made the Ikea cats commercial. Herding cats is not easy, they do all sorts of things like fight and hide behind walls people have to saw open.

Mother, London have had a blast herding "100 cats" through the Wembley branch of Ikea for this advert. Kittens sit in cups, there's slow motion footage of cats jumps, a big white fellar named Leo explores all the easy open drawers available and soon they settle down, taking catnaps everywhere. Home. It's full of cat hair.

I love it. I'm a sucker for cats, you know. My only raised eyebrow is with the shot of spotty-furry guy pulling his head out of the "minnen" bed. That's the very same bed a four year old girl suffocated in attempting a similar move as the cat. If I were the client, I'd ask you to replace that with another beauty-shot.
