All the ladies in the house and on the phone say: "Yes"
Wikileaks - Mastercard / Banking Blockade commercial - (2011)
It's been six months since five major US financial institutions, VISA, MasterCard, PayPal, Western Union and the Bank of America, have stunted Wikileaks by freezing accounts and prevented donations from being made via them. This ad shows Julian Assange in house-arrest at Vaughan Smith's country manor, while spoofing the long-running "Mastercard Priceless" campaign. It's up on youtube today, but with their trackrecord for yanking parody ads that touch on trademarks (see Greenpeace VW) it might be down by tomorrow.
Censorship, like everything else in the West, has been privatized.

Givenchy - "Play" / Justin Timberlake - (2011)
Instead of running with the obvious sexual connotations of a perfume named "Play", Givenchy got Justin Timberlake on a romantic - and high tech - date at the top of the Eiffel tower.
Wild(child) Editorial principal Yvette Pineyro recently cut ‘Play,’ a film noir-stye spot featuring Justin Timberlake in a romantic mélange of intrigue and stunning imagery heralding the launch of Givenchy’s new fragrance. The award-winning editor, who recently received a nod from the AICE in the fashion/beauty category for the :30 global spot, collaborated with famed feature film director Pierre Morel, who shot the footage in Paris for Anton & Partners/NY.
44th Karlovy Vary IFF - John Malkovich - (2011)

Bavaria - Hugh Hefner - (2011)
For those not familiar with the taglines history: "Zo" stems from "Zo. Nu eerst een Bavaria." which comes from the insight that a beer tastes a lot better after you've done hard work to deserve it, thus: "Now, a Bavaria" as the answer to countless funny ads depicting people doing clever or not-so-hard-work to finally deserve the beer.
In Hugh Hefners case, he first need to keep all his lady friends happy all day. Nice work if you can get it.
Justin Bieber - Someday / Perfume ad - (2011)
Move over Britney, Justin Bieber has launched a perfume called "Someday", where the name and the ad alludes to that magical someday when the pint-sized pop star might snuggle the wearer. Dreams in a bottle! The ad shows a suitably grown girl applying the perfume, and as she does is suddenly flying in the sky hugging, but not quite snogging, Justin. It's all very chaste with an explicit promise that if you smell the way Justin approves of, you too can have romantic hallucinations in the middle of the day.
Clothier Basement - Dream Collection / Kate Moss - (2011) :90 (Chile)
Easter-theme now? In Kate Moss' latest ad for Chilean fashion chain Basement she seduces a tapdancing bunny-rabbit with a bouquet of carrots. Yep, that makes sense.

Groupon - Save the Rainforest / Elizabeth Hurley - (2011)
Elizabeth Hurley explains how she used Groupon to get 50% off a Brazilian wax, and helped "Save the Money". I think I pulled a muscle in my eyes.
Godaddy - Jillian Michaels and Danica Patrick Strip Down For Daddy - (2011)
GoDaddy are at it again, using their patented formula of super bowl ad hype, as usual. Jillian Michaels and Danica Patrick are in their dressing rooms reading the script for this ad complaining that they "won't do it", whatever it is, Danica refers to it as "over the top" and Jillian dubs it a "crazy stunt."
