Jungle Energy bars "Fetch" (2013) :30 (South Africa)

Jungle energy bars don't want you to just buy their energy bars, because then they'd be selling you something and not being "social." So along with this fine commercial with an great idea attached (extra energy means you can do extra things) comes the obligatory hoop jumping crowd-sourced social initiative.

In this case it's called One Hour Project. If you join up, add the app to Facebook, show the world what you're doing to make a difference, you might win the grand prize of R15,000. Which is about $1,700 U.S.

Maybe they can partner with 5 Hour Energy and create a six hour project. What would you do whilst cracked out for six hours?

Kilbeggan Whiskey. "Tight knit" (2013) :30 (U.S.A.)

Here's the thing. The Irish are very unhappy that Kilbeggan's Whiskey is now across the pond. But they're a charming lovely sort. So they know how to cope with losing Ireland's best kept secret. They cope by knitting.

I initially thought the premise was something along the lines of we Yanks love the stuff so much there's none left in Ireland. But apparently just the thought of us drinking it down is enough to send them into OCD level state of coping.

Liberation highlights the feel-good efforts of a swaggering Harley humanitarian, who struts past a group of caged dogs outside a pet store with an armload of leashes. "Now, with even more power," a narrator boasts of the new Harley models. Indeed.

Harley-Davidson - Unchained - (2011) :30 (USA)

Tool Director Geordie Stephens recently teamed up with Victors & Spoils to helm a pair of freewheeling spots for Harley-Davidson.

Unchained opens on a dog chain steadily tugging at a stake. An imprisoned canine attached to the tether tears the stake from the ground and breaks free lurching across the yard, leaping a fence, and tearing off after the Harley-riding hero whose revving engine had inspired the escape. The camera pans wide then, revealing a wide shot of a neighborhood overrun with dogs chasing behind the bike as a cacophony of joyous barks breaks out.
