MTV VMA - Bieber Promo (2010)
The precocious VMA performer and nominee Justin Bieber stars in the final spot, a stylish blend of color contrasted with a deep black-and-white world shot on a RED camera. Though stuck in a room from a bygone era, Bieber sings into a flatscreen computer monitor, sending a trio of admiring girls into a swoon on the receiving end. The remainder of the spot features the singer outrunning a phalanx of adoring fans who ambush him as he exits one of his sold-out concerts.
Adidas - Sky Comic - (2010) :60
TBWA\HAKUHODO and adidas Japan, in preparation for the upcoming 2010 FIFA World Cup South Africa, launched the next phase of World Cup activities with “adidas Sky Comic” project. The project, which spans 13 cities over five weeks, is a creation of 13 massive 300 square meter individual comic strip panels that are painted by football fans and national team supporters from all over Japan. A camera rigged to a remote controlled balloon is then taken up and the individual panels are photographed from the sky and uploaded to a dedicated adidas and JFA website (www.adidas.co.jp/JFA) where the entire story comes together as a digital comic book (www.adidas.co.jp/JFA/skycomic).
Coke World Cup Celebration (2010) :60 (Global)
While Pepsi has a series of their own 2010 FIFA World Cup spots out, Coke reminds them just who the official partner is. Here, they go for the broader theme of celebration after scoring in a nice little passing of the Roger Milla baton throughout the entire spot. All sports have their own unique ways of celebrating, but it’s nice to see futbol get its airplane on.
KFC - West Indies vs Australia / Awkward / How to Silence a Noisy Crowd - (2010) :30 (Australia)
Man defuses potentially awkward situation with a bucket of chicken when he finds himself seated among the fans of the opposite team. This is part of the KFC Cricket Survival guide campaign. Ads original title: How to Silence a Noisy Crowd
KFC issued the following statement Wednesday: "KFC Australia is removing the television advertisement that was being run in conjunction with the Australian cricket season. We apologize for any misinterpretation of the ad as it was not meant to offend anyone."
