Immersive Cocoon "2011" (Teaser Short)
Keir Dullea encounters a mysterious object, in a scenario reminiscent of the penultimate scene from Stanley Kubrick’s 2001: A Space Odyssey that he appeared in over forty years ago.
Everything in this 2001 homage is absolutely perfect except Keir's shoes. They look comfortable. That's all wrong. Still, I think even the toughest Kubrick fan will approve, and even squeee a little.
This spec teaser was developed over a two year period on a shoestring budget. Live action was filmed multi-camera, against greenscreen atop a backlit plexi floor. Mr. Dullea was then integrated into an entirely digitally created CG set rendered at 1080HD.

Crispin Porter + Bogusky and the carrot industry has launched a $25 million campaign shilling baby carrots like they're junk food. Here's the typical futuristic funky version. Hot tip, baby carrots are junk food. They're misshaped carrots, shaved into baby carrot shape and size soaked in a chunk of sugar. My kid eats actual carrots.
Gucci - Guilty - trailer for the film Directed by Frank Miller
Woah, that's unexpected. Frank Miller directs the latest Gucci TV commercial – also in 3D. We only have the trailer so far, and I'm currently trying to find a calendar around here to make sure its not 2005. Aw, that was mean, the Sin City look is still cool as all hell. Wait, hell ain't cool. Ok, cool as that iceberg that sunk the Titanic. Oh brother, I need it to be happy hour already.
Produced by RSA Films and Think Cattleya with Agency REM Ruini e Mariotti. Starring Evan Rachel Wood and Chris Evans with a remix of Depeche Mode’s Strangelove by the Friendly Fires.
Look out for the films online and on TV.
