Mini Cooper "Save a Life" (2013) 1:50 (Mexico)
Mini Cooper had an interesting series of activations to try and get people to stop texting whilst driving. The first was they took letter sculptures, and "injured," them, placing them around the city, to show the damage texting while driving can really do.
They also created Word Blocker, an app disables incoming calls and texts based on GPS and speed of vehicle.
The first part must have been stunning to see in person.
The app's effectiveness is measured by how smart the person is to enable it. And I say this because we're dealing with people dumb enough to risk their lives to send a text message, you know what I mean?
Casa Mariol "Wine Ink" (2013) 1:15 (Poland)
Successful business stories aren't only written in ink, but over a glass of wine. Casa Mariol took this to a fun place, by making a pen that writes with wine instead of ink. And then sent to potential business partners. Fun idea. But it sounds like a dreadful waste of good wine to me.
Bacardi. "The letter" (2013) 1:30 (U.K.)
Mr. President launched a new campaign for Bacardi, celebrating 150 years. The campaign is called “Our history is unbelievable.” Sadly, we've seen boob jokes and booze a bunch of times. At least this one was story telling at its finest.
