With an obvious nod to The Jill and Kevin wedding entrance dance, T-mobile leaves the ad-as-event arena and settles for using only the ad-copying-already-succesful-virals part of their "Life's for sharing" campaign. The lookalikes are great, and probably had a lot of fun doing this, and it's always momentarily amusing to see "royals" gyrating. But there was nothing done in public this time involving an unsuspecting audience in the idea, and we find it less easy to forgive the viral-rip without the added layer of real world interaction underlining and encouraging people to share the event via their cellphones.

In this "video-blog" created by Ulf, one of the Ica people, he acts and speaks exactly like some of the more well known video & fashion bloggers in Sweden. I'll try my best to translate it.

Bavaria mocks "walk in fridge" with their now understated version of their classic tagline "Zo, nu erst en Bavaria" - That's "So, now a bavaria" which roughly means you only deserve your beer after you've done your work, like "not until now" a bavaria. Hard to translate but it's a good line.

Mother came to us with a typically low internet budget to create 3 x three minute films for Stella Artois 4%. The campaign had to build on the Riviera chic established for the brand, ooze Gallic charm and look like authentic films of the French cinema of the early sixties.

We shot the films in an old, faded seaside resort in Uruguay, which we turned into an "authentic" looking 1960 French Riviera.

Mother's CD Augusto Sousa was full of praise for the art department:
"Everything looks very real because all those things used on the films were genuinely from the '60's"

"He runs, he dribbles, he collapses in a heap!"

Pigeons do a lot of weird things. Especially in the show pigeonhospital created by artlicker (a.k.a, an adgrunt you've probably heard of..). It's a joke people, not an actual ad.
