You might not remember us, but we met in the 90s Everything is just so 90s is in this ad. Tamagotchi's. Trolls. 56K modems. Pumped up shoes. Bad bowl haircuts. The colors are spot on. You grew up. So did we. Aaah, so the kids of the 90s should try IE again, then? The ad is great. Internet Explorer? Not so much. Yep. Still

The Slip Français' products are entirely designed and manufactured in France, with a product range based aroundthe iconic "slip", that is high quality underpants for men and women. Now, while we might have seen the perfectly executed Mad Men era of retro-styling before, this brings a bit of that je ne c'est quois the French are so famous for to it, as our product demonstrating lady also introduces us, and the product, to eggs and a hammer. All the while wearing a slightly mischievous smile. The end results would be Dali's breakfast.

PIMA Air and Space museum - Paper Airplane Project - (2012)

The Pima Air & Space Museum wanted to inspire kids about the science of flight and attract more visitors to the museum. So we built a 45' giant paper airplane, lifted it high into the sky and let it fly. As part of the program, we held a paper airplane contest for kids. The winner of the contest got to help design, name the plane, and attend the private launch. The massive paper plane flew for nearly a mile from an altitude of 2703 feet and reached a speeds of up to 98mph. Afterwards, the museum displayed the plane as a permanent exhibit in the museum. Now, the people at PASM can say they're doing more than just collecting history. They're making it.

Müller Wünderful Stuff- (2011) :90 (UK)

TBWA London launched this 90 second advert for Müller's Yogurt on the X Factor show on ITV.
It stars famous 2D characters such as Yogi Bear, Muttley and the Mister Men, and opens with KITT getting a ticket. That will not do, says the Müller bot who attacks and transforms the parking attendent. This is very odd, but a million times better than hearing that Nina Simone song abut arms and legs again. Mmm. I'm kinda hungry for yogurt now, but afraid I might turn into Betty Boop.

Eagleton used various filters in the resolve to create an authentic, stunning look for the spot.

Absolut - Lemon Drop the movie - featuring Ali Larter (2010)

If you've been holding your breath since we posted the Ali Carter Lemon Drop Absolut Trailer July 1, exhale. We have the ten minute film. They've gone all the way retro, with badly edited cuts, hair in the gate and a soundtrack that is right groovy all the way through, and even made a very retro movie poster to fit with it.

Dove make ads just for Mad Men, women have the ideas, get no credit

Yes, I get it everybody loves Mad Men, so really, it's no wonder that a soap should advertise on what is arguably the best soap opera going. Sorry, drama series. And hey, someone had an idea, wouldn't it be funny if they did the ads in "Mad Men" style? Set in a fake "Mad Men" agency in that era?

They're not doing this just for Dove, Unilever has done ads like this for to be followed by Breyers, Hellmann’s, Klondike, Suave and Vaseline. All of the vignette-style commercials are being produced by Mindshare Entertainment.

In this King Kong homage, the beautiful blond initially screams and rejects King because his ginormous ape hands (he is an APE not a monkey! / pet-peeve) are stinky and may have cooties. Once she has sanitized the big ape with her trusty Green Cross Hand Sanitizer, they can get down to business and share germs in a big fat cootie-filled snog. Don't worry your little head with the details, it's advertising-logic.

Remember when Absolut wasn't easily confused with a gazillion other brands playing on the old retro kung-fu-film fun wave? Yeah, neither do I.

Broken Bells - The Ghost Inside / Starring Christina Hendricks

Mad Men's favorite curvy redhead Christina Hendricks plays a woman starship pilot dead set on reaching her destination. In her crammed space-ship she swaps body parts for fuel, determined to keep on going, loosing large chunks of herself in the process. I totally knows how she feels.

Goldfrapp - Alive - (2010) 3:02

Wanna see some fit aerobic-girls dance with black eye-linered death metal rockers on a pentagrammed floor, under the control of a shiny retro seventies styled starlet dressed in all gold and dancing between neons. Then the hip aerobics gals turn into glitter-vampires that empty the death metal men of their glittery multicolored glam blood? Have I got the video for you.

No, seriously, this is what Legs says about it: In “Alive” Goldfrapp leads black metal heads through sexed up aerobics. They are joined by neon nymphs who seduce and sacrifice them for rainbow blood. See?
