The Crime Stoppers Ball is an annual fundraiser attended by Toronto’s Chief of Police and other high-ranking officials. With so many of the city’s crime fighting elite occupied at the event, it would be “The Perfect Night to Crime.”

DDB Canada brings us this odd little bank robbery and car chase, where the brilliant mastermind behind the robbery is only doing it for free advertising for his car. A wee bit like how some ad people perpetrate hoaxes in the hopes of maybe making a video go viral and get press that way. You can't blame the guy for trying really, a live chase on air will get that phone number seen by lots of people, obviously, and maybe one of them is even interested in buying a car.

"Girls talk" .. about shoes and nifty dresses, even during a bank robbery. The robbers make a fatal mistake when blocking the Zalando delivery-man. Uh-oh. You could play stereotype-bingo with this ad. The ad is created by Jung von Matt in Hamburg but for the UK online store. The English ad has been replaced by the German version.
Update 2: The names of creatives not involved in the conception of execution of this ad have been removed.
Update 3: Full credits sorted. There will be no more changes.

PHILIPS CINEMA 21:9 - Carousel - (2009) 2:19 (The Netherlands)

Created entirely by Stink Digital, this new interactive campaign promotes Philips’ latest entrant into the television market, the CINEMA 21:9. Berg conceived it to work as an endless loop. Visitors to the microsite therefore have the option to ‘spin’ through the film’s single take shot repeatedly, to stop on a specific frame, or to watch it at the preordained speed. The film also contains embedded hotspots, which, when triggered, transport the viewer seamlessly from the heavily posted film to a behind-the-scenes version of the same shot.
