TSB - the little things matter - (2013) (UK)
The little things in life matter, like sacred lobsters, high-maintenance flock of sheep, and small towns gangs.
Aardgas (KVBG) – Gaz Naturel (ARGB) Belgian Natural Gas Association / Knitted 2 - (2012)
TBWA Belgium's new commercial shows ever so gently how renewable energy and natural gas go hand in hand, and just like the one last year everything knitted grows on stuff like kudzu. The film was directed by Olivier Babinet and produced by Lovo Films for the Belgian Natural Gas Association. Am I the only one thinking that little terrier was going to turn into a knitted dog?
Toya De Lazy - "Heart" - (2012) 3:48
Bouffant's Jeana Theron directs the video for SA pop-sensation Toya Delazy's latest single "Heart". There's an ocean and a heart fishing for love, and dancing braids.
Clearly a labour of love for Jeana, her background in Fine Arts shines through in this cute video which was conceptualised and planned to painstaking detail by the director herself.
Dulux – Weather - (2012) :60
Stop motion house-painting awesomeness? No, it only looks like it is, but it's quite well done.
In this spot for Dulux paint, The Sweet Shop director Melanie Bridge takes her signature style in a new direction by blending the fantastic with the real. Embarking on what seems like a stop motion house painting adventure, Melanie creates a fun spot that blurs the lines between handcrafted animation and quirky computer animation.
“The key thing that we always had to ask ourselves was whether it was believable that it had been created for real,” said Melanie. “We wanted it to look like the couple had actually painted and stop framed he animation on their house themselves.”
VW Jetta - More Lessons mean more car rides - (2011)
When DDB Singapore needed a new VW TVC profiling the VW Jetta they called on the Kings of Cutesyness (Yukfoo Animation) and we made them a devilishly sweet car spot. Directed by Julian Stokoe (who does a great line in Nice and Lovely) it's a mixed media extravaganza featuring 2D, stopmotion portraits and photographic elements - there's a heck of a lot of crayonwork going on too. It's a 60 second journey into the mindset of a car-obsessed boy who does ballet lessons on Tuesdays but isn't a pottymouth like Billy Elliot.
Nissan Versa Sedan - Headroom - (2011) :30 (USA)
In this stop motion animation Nissan wants you to remember to bring your hats, tease your hair... the Versa has headroom.
Kia Picanto - Nail Art Animation - (2011) :90 (Korea)
1200 bottles of nail polish, 900 nails and 2 hours of drawing for each one - this animation makes Kia the ultimate fashion accessory.

In a :30 spot promoting Oregon Lottery's holiday scratch-off game "What's In Santa's Beard?" Portland agency Borders Perrin Norrander (BPN) tapped Mothership's Nathan Love to create an animated world filled with kooky holiday characters and the potential winnings from playing the lottery game. Nokia N8 - Dot - the worlds smallest stop-motion animation character
The Nokia N8 has a macro-lens attachment, CellScope. This was a technical detail only nerds could love until W+K and Aardman turned into magical must-have for everyman. This sums up their strategy quite well, "It's not technology, it's what you do with it"
Bonus: see also the making of Dot.
Dulux Valentine - Let's Color Project - Walls are Dancing (2010)
Here's the official clip (or wait, let me try this in French: Le clip officiel - weee! I could get the hang of this) where three artists collaborated on music, wall art and the animation of it to create this clip. This is Euro RSCG France's answer to The Dulux walls - let's color project that painted the world in May.
You can also view The making of video here.
We invited 3 cutting-edge artists to mix their talents in order to offer the French public an innovative performance, uncovering the 'arty' edge of the Let's Colour Project.
Vänsterpartiet - No Profit - Valfilm 2010
Vänsterpartiet - "The Left Party" - formerly known as Vänsterpartiet kommunisterna (VPK) which they changed in 1990 to simply "V" also promise more jobs, in a roundabout way. The VO says:
"Did you know that 3 billion kronor is earned as profit every year, by privately owned health care companies in Sweden? That is money that you and I pay to our joint health care. For that money, we can hire eight thousand nurses instead. We want to build the worlds best welfare state without private profit."
Ok Go - End Love - (2010)
Disregard the chalk lines and the shadows from the crew at the start and you'll be rewarded by a spotlight hogging goose at the end, so worth it. It looks like he just decided to join in and the band keep feeding him to have him stick around.
From the director Jeff Lieberman who also does Time Warp on the discovery channel:
Lipton Brisk - The way of the brisk
OOooH nooo! Tiny Chuck gets loose! Look out!
