Corona: Django Responsible Drinking (2013) 1:30 (Spain)

Hendrick’s Gin - Unusual / Mad magazine makes rose petal and cucumber meet - print Spain

Draftfcb in Madrid developed a new and "unusual" campaign for Hendrick’s Gin, though the execution is very familiar. Yes, it's based on the MAD Magazine fold-in format popularised by legendary cartoonist Al Jaffee. The Mad magazine execution style was used by Miller in 2003 to show in the fold how beer added to anywhere became an instant party, while Hendrick’s is using it to show its dominant flavour profile: the infusion duo of rose petal and cucumber. With a victorian touch to the illustrations it feels like Jules Verne himself might have sipped it while writing some of his more elaborate works.

"In a fresh mediterranian night, a solitary bus and a girl meet a weird character. Anything can happen. And it does." "I stared into the abyss, the abyss stared back, neither was impressed." ;P

I like it, creepy guy is very well cast.

Do you want to advertise on Fred's tattoo?

This is the perfect storm of "crazy" new media and hep but dying tech. Leo Burnett in Spain has a creative guy named Fred hired there, and when Fred made a QR tattoo an idea was born. Advertise on Freds arm!

Alas, the ebay auction where bidding starts at one euro, is terminado, that is closed. Why? We can sell virginities on ebay, but not QR-code tattoo space? Weird.

Pepsi - Neon Sign / Numbers - (2012) :60 (Spain)

What do the mystery números mean? 1 2 9 3 9. Is it a date? Is it a riddle? Is it a sign? Ah, it's a sign. Seems to work quite well as the kids trying to crack the mystery are feeling thirsty, then again they just spent a lot of time on a rooftop cracking and eating some sort of nuts too. Better get a Pepsi to wash that down with.

VW Volkswagen Golf - Phobias - (2010)

A phobia is an irrational, intense and persistent fear of certain situations, things, animals, people...or just about watching the new Golf and not being its owner.

I find the jump a slight #fail, but I dig the surreal fast-cut way of telling the stories of phobias, well done on that Pep Bosch & Agosto

Syfy - Hecho en Syfy - (2010)

OMG KYOOT! This strange little green creature with wobbly thighs and one giant eye is the brainchild of Dvein, for Syfy as an opener. Can I adopt it? What does it eat? Where does it eat?

Campofrio - Timothy the Robot - (2010) 2:31

Timothy the robot "will become part of your family" states his shipping note, and indeed he does. He plays with the kids, serves drinks to the neighbors at the BBQ, hogs the best seat in the house while watching TV and generally attracts the ire of dad, who feels rejected by his own family. Dad realizes that Timothy is indeed "just a robot" and as such, he can never taste the joy that is Campofrio ham. Revenge is best served cold, straight out of the pack and in thin slices.

The First Bladder-Friendly Festival

From Atletico International in Barcelona, Spain: "Alfred Hitchcock said: "The length of a film should be directly related to the endurance of the human bladder." This quote was our inspiration for our last campaign for MECAL, Barcelona Short Film Festival. From now on, the first bladder friendly festival."

See the video that is part of this campaign as well.
