Google - "Loretta / Help me Remember" (2020) :90 (USA)

At this point, when Google has already had tear-jerking ads in the super bowl, three so far, so I didn't expect anything less than another emotional spot.

But man, this hit pretty hard.

A man remembers his wife and love of life, Loretta, by taking notes via Google. He begins by asking "how to not forget?" and then uses the assistant to remember things and call up images.  “Remember that I am the luckiest man in the world” he notes, and we are left to wonder what happened to Loretta - or his memory. Is she dead? Does he have Alzheimer's? No answer to this question is a happy one, so all we can do is grab the Kleenex and get a little creeped out that Google remembers our life better than we do in the dystopian future we now live in. They even advertise it on the super bowl.
