Bullet Adds Amy Hull As Managing Director; Barry Sonders As Producer

NEW YORK, NY -- Looking to further solidify its reputation as the go to creative production resource for the advertising/entertainment community, Bullet, the multi-disciplined production hub led by award-winning producer Oscar Thomas and music supervisor Patrick Oliver, has added Amy Hull as its Managing Director and Barry Sonders as Producer.

According to Thomas, the addition of Hull and Sonders marks a turning point for the fast-growing company.

''In addition to adding a talented Producer like Barry, we’ve also brought in Amy as our Managing Partner,'' Thomas says. ''Amy is someone who obviously understands the Bullet business model given the fact that her previous company, Beaucoup Chapeaux, practically invented the independent broadcast company niche. She understands instinctively what our clients need and how we should grow as a company. Our first two-years in business have been a whirlwind. Right out of the gate we were busy and we haven’t slowed at all. With Amy and Barry on board we’ve added to two important pieces to meet the coming challenges facing advertising production.''

Amy Hull:

A vastly experienced commercial producer, Hull is perhaps best known as the co-founder of the highly-respected production services company Beaucoup Chapeaux, New York, which she founded with her sister, Lisa Dee. A precursor in many ways to the Bullet business model, Beaucoup Chapeaux worked directly with top creative ad agencies, handling every aspect of projects from pre-production through post. They also founded the business affairs company Talent Solutions, New York. Both companies were sold in 2008.

''All of the pieces are here,'' Hull says. ''They’re all excellent creative producers and have the relationships and reputation to do amazing things for our clients, but because our team is often producing, frequently on location, they needed an internal point person. It’s difficult to manage and grow the company when everyone is away from the office, often in different time zones. My goal is to be a central manager for the company and a primary contact for our clients.''

Barry Sonders:

Sonders joins Bullet following three years as a producer for the Rochester, NY-based Partners & Napier, whose accounts include Kodak, UPS, Bausch + Lomb, and others. He first came to Bullet’s attention when Oliver worked on the recent ''So Kodak'' campaign, which featured top R&B artists Drake, Rihanna and Trey Songz. At the time Sonders was working on other Kodak related projects at the agency.

In addition to Kodak, Sonders has also produced spots for such top brands as British Airways, Dell and Keystone Beer.

''The Kodak project was extraordinarily comprehensive and complicated, but seeing how well Patrick and the Bullet team handled every challenge that came their way was inspiring,'' Sonders says. ''When they offered me the opportunity to join the company I jumped at the chance. They are truly the best at what they do, and I’m looking forward to playing a role in their continued success.''

Recent Bullet work includes a multimedia campaign for Hangar One Vodka via agency Dead As We Know It, New York; the “Science Fair” spot for Google, Los Angeles; MINI "Rocket Man" industrial for BSUR, Amsterdam; Kodak and Bausch & Lomb spots for Partners & Napier, Rochester, NY; Adidas ad for SidLee, Montreal; online ads fpr Philips Grooming via Tribal DDB, Amsterdam; and State Farm “Hot Tub” ad for Translation, New York.
