Acclaim Entertainment who last year gathered headlines such as " death to advertising as we know it" as they advertised for 'Shadow Man: 2econd Coming' on gravestones in the UK, has done it again, this time they're advertising on pigeons.

Acclaim Entertainment has announced they plan to employ homing pigeons with Virtua Tennis 2 logos on their wings at this year's Wimbledon tournament.
"The Virtua Tennis 2 pigeon marketing campaign is highly targeted, as it brings awareness of the game directly to tennis enthusiasts," said Larry Sparks, VP of marketing international at Acclaim. "The Wimbledon tournament is famous for the occasional descent by pigeons onto center court, but our advertising pigeons are trained to go straight for the fans and flap their logos in front of them."
Larry spoke to Gamespots Justin Calvert.
We'll believe the homing pigeons as ad-media story when we see it - the tombstone ads last year never actually happened and I doubt this will either.
Update The Register is on the pigeon case today the 23rd and the BBC reported about the pigeons Saturday 21st.
