Etch a sketch: Your cousin does tattoos? Erase your mistakes with just one shake.
Back in March, the Etch a sketch campaign was having fun with its newfound political power after Mitt Romney mentioned them. Running with the tagline "Don't you wish you could erase all your mistakes?" each line here shows people making bad calls. Half-off sushi beng a particularly bad one, yikes.

Etch A Sketch comments on their sudden political power in ads: stay straight in the middle

Mattel / Pictionary - Quickest draw wins - print, Malaysia
Today seems to be truth in advertising day. These delish illustrations nail the fun of pictionary where it's not how well you draw, but how quick you draw [insert cowboys meet at noon joke here]. Nicely done, O&M Malaysia.
Hot Wheels - Hot Wheels for Real - (2011) :30 (USA)

Hot Wheels - Secret Race Battle - beamvertising (2011)
Monster fights on a building down in Oz. Like the Black Flag giant invading space ants crawling all over a building this neat-o 3D effect is the new generation of beamvertising. All you need is a really big building and an idea. The question is, will the target market be around to watch it?
Scrabble - the power of words / Goldfish eats shark
Where's Caffeinegoddess, the admitted scrabble addict when we need her? I never play scrabble, not sure about the rules, but I can build words on letters from my opponents word, right?
Aaaaah, that explains the Goldsfish - Shark image. I'm still lost in the "cat - mouse" and "fox - squirrel" scenarios though, but no matter the lovely illustrations are distracting me away from these wordy details an art director shouldn't be minding anyway. So purdy!

Scalextric - Be Little Water - (2008) :30 (Spain)

Agency: Tiempo BBDO
For Tecnitoys/Scalextric; Scalextric was looking to create a brand-building online viral. It was decided to produce a “miniaturized” spoof version of BMW’s highly successful “Be water” spot. Whereas in the original, it is Bruce Lee who speaks to camera in English, in our version his lines were spoken by a young Chinese boy – and while the three shots of the car at first glance appeared the same as in the original, in our version it was not a real BMW, but a Scalextric miniature.

RC SCORPION remote control cars are tougher than those other remote controlled wimpy toys, and this is how Ogilvy London decided to communicate that.
