Gran Centenario Tequila Debuts New Advertising

(NY, NY) The creators of ultra-premium Tequila Gran Centenario have announced the launch of the brand 's first-ever print advertising in Los Angeles. Created by Arnell Group, the new creative features the illustrated Gran Centenario angel that appears on the bottle label and identifies Gran Centenario as "the most tempting Tequila on earth." It playfully asserts that Gran Centenario's quality is so exceptional that it must be sent from heaven.

In the ad, the fallen angel tempts us with a bottle of Gran Centenario next to the phrase "Heaven's Been Missing an Angel.” As legend has it, the angel guards each batch of Gran Centenario Tequila as it is aged in French Limousin barrels to ensure its superior quality. As the Tequila matures, a small percentage of the distillate evaporates - this is known as the “angel's share” - her reward for watching over the casks.

“The fallen angel was an obvious choice for the advertising because she captures the full spectrum of Gran Centenario's personality,” commented Peter Arnell, Chairman and Chief Creative Officer, Arnell Group. “She is the embodiment of Gran Centenario. It's devilishly good."

The ads begin appearing this month in magazines such as Angelino, LA Confidential, Los Angeles Magazine and Wine Spectator.
