In the interest of copyright - Duke law film competition

Copyright has nearly become the boogyman, in the interest of finding what gives, and what just is, Duke university actually had a little competition demonstrating some of the tensions between art and intellectual property law in the form of asking students to make create short films, doing just that. "contest(ants.. are) asked entrants to create short films demonstrating some of the tensions between art and intellectual property law"

There are The finalists. The The judges are selecting three winners from among these finalists, and the winners will be announced on January 15, 2005. Do us a favah, and vote for someone talented!
Besides, the whole idea is terribly interesting, don't you think?

(right... anyway when is permission to repost images is a good thread to consider if you are actually concerned about the © of any image, that discussion continues here on Calacanis Digital Photography blog and is quite good. Jus' so ya know. ,)
