Since it's officially "Back to the future" day, that is October 22 2015, everyone and their aunt are tweeting "Back to the future" gifs. Some brands are joining in on the fun, Pepsi created the future drink, Universal Studios cut a trailer for Jaws 19, and now Nike has invented the self-lacing shoe and given a pair to Marty McFly, aka Michael J Fox. Nike's PR Director tweeted that the first pair of self-lacing shoes were in NYC, and now we know who got them.
The first pair of self-lacing Nike Mag shoes is in New York City.

If you want a pair and have disposable income, you can buy the 2015 via an auction. All proceeds from the sales of the 2015 go to the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research. The specific details on the auctions will be posted to Nike News and via Twitter @Nike in spring 2016.
If you can imagine the future, you can create it.
