McDonald's unveiled a new commercial at a press conference today titled "My First". The spot features people from around the world who started their careers at McDonald's. Olympic track and field medalist Carl Lewis and singer Macy Gray among others are featured in the ads.
"McDonald's has revitalized the brand with two key strategies -- leadership marketing and operational excellence," said Light. "My First brings both strategies to life, because this campaign is intended to inspire our employees, attract new ones and show our customers that if you begin your career at McDonald's, the sky is the limit.
Ok. I can see this possibly helping to recruit new employees and make those working the fryilator feel better about working there, but do they seriously think that customers will give a flying monkey?
