VW is going to make cassettes come back.

At least for its classic car owners, anyway. As part of its "classic parts," campaign, VW Belgium is rewarding drivers who still have their old VW's by sending them an authentic mix tape in the mail (along with some coupons for discounts on classic parts) that they can play in their vintage cars. Featuring hits from the 70's and 80's. They worked with Sony music Belgium to obtain exclusive rights to rerelease these old songs. Don't live in Belgium or have a cassette? No worries, you can also hear the playlist on Soundcloud. Although I'm sure you've heard all of them some of them are covers, so of course I'm geeking out on the German version of Cheap Trick's "I want you to want me." Great idea that rewards the faithful fan, instead of the new and gets the word out that they are still servicing those cars with classic parts.
