GSD&M President Roy Spence: rap superstar

Roy Spence, advertising superstar and president of GSD&M (Austin, TX) has decided to go into the rap business.

Hear his college try here @ macksimpson.com/adverb.

Roy, inspired by his alma mater's outstanding (and continuing) performance in the NCAA basketball championship tournament, was compelled by his muse (who I assume must resemble Queen Latifah) to write a rap song in support of the boys in burnt orange.

Co-written and produced with Wally Williams and Cole Williams of the local (and, I might add, most excellent) music production company, "Tequila Mockingbird," the entire process took less than 24 hours.

It doesn't show, guys. I swear.

Judge for yourself. Listen to it here, but please save it to your own computer and please don't hotlink directly to the file. (1MB .mp3 file, :60 running time)

These questions remain: after having proven himself to be an original gangsta' in the ad jungle, is Roy willing to take on the world of rap? Should P. Diddy continue packing his nine just in case Roy decides to try to pop a cap in his ass? And how does Roy fit in to the whole East Coast vs. West Coast thing?
